Jávea lives in three cores: the old town (Pueblo) inland with a market and history; the port (Puerto) with a fishing marina and restaurants; and the Arenal, the only sandy beach with a boulevard and apartments. Villas dot the slopes of Montgó and the Cap de la Nau headland.

Three bays (the sandy Arenal, pebbly La Granadella and La Barraca), the Montgó natural park, a marina and strict height limits have preserved an intimate, un-mass-market character. Alicante airport is about 1h15, Valencia roughly the same.

Jávea suits the quality, upper-segment buyer for whom lifestyle and steady appreciation matter more than maximum yield; a favourite of European expats settling permanently.

Summer beach demand concentrates on the Arenal, but the expat community and mild climate support long-term letting off-season too — income is less summer-led than at budget resorts.
